What Does The Shark IQ R101 Wi-Fi Connected Robotic Vacuum Have To Offer?

As the name suggests, the Shark IQ R101 Wi-Fi Connected Robotic Vacuum can be connected to Wi-Fi. What this means is that you can access the Shark IQ R101 from a variety of different Wi-Fi devices.

Most people use their smartphones to access this robot vacuum. Using your smartphone, you can access a number of different features. One of the most useful features is a scheduling feature, which allows you to automate when the robot vacuums turn on and cleans, and when it’s off. There is another extremely useful feature that many robot vacuums don’t offer, and this feature is a map of your home that you can access. On this map, you can choose specific rooms that you want the Shark IQ R101 to clean.

If you don’t want to use your smartphone, but would like to use another Wi-Fi device, you can use Amazon Alexa. With Alexa, you can just tell the Shark IQ R101 what you want it to do, using your voice. It’s convenient, but unless you bring your Alexa device everywhere you go, you aren’t able to access those settings and features at any time.

While these features are incredibly useful, if a robot vacuum doesn’t offer good performance, then it isn’t that great of a robot vacuum. Fortunately, though, the Shark IQ R101 offers some excellent vacuuming performance!

Most of this performance comes from the motor. More specifically, most of the performance comes from the suction that the motor produces. Using this suction, the Shark IQ R101 can move across hard floors, which don’t require too much suction, and soft floors, which require a lot more suction. Even on thick carpets and rugs, the Shark IQ R101 is efficient and fast.

With the suction, the robot vacuum is able to suck up the dirt, dust, and debris that has been loosened up by the brushes. The brush system that the Shark IQ R101 is one of the other key features that it offers, and without this brush system, this robot vacuum would be significantly less efficient.

On both sides of the Shark IQ R101, there is a brush. Each brush is set at an angle, and what these brushes do is they move at the sides of the vacuum, loosening up the dirt, dust, and debris that’s around the vacuum. When they move into corners and the edges of your home, they’re able to get rid of the dust and dirt that is in those spaces.

Shark IQ R101

The best, and most important, brush that the Shark IQ R101 uses is the brush that’s right in the middle. When the dirt, dust, and debris that’s to the sides of the vacuum is loosened up, it’s thrown underneath the vacuum and right into the main brush. This main brush then throws that stuff into the suction channel, allowing it to be vacuumed up. But, what makes this main brush so great is the fact that it’s able to reach into carpets and rugs, and remove all of the hair and dust that’s within those surfaces. And, when there’s hair on it – such as pet hair – it cleans itself off!

Conclusion

If you don’t mind spending a small chunk of change for an excellent robot vacuum, then the Shark IQ R101 Wi-Fi Connected Robotic Vacuum is a fantastic choice! It is a little expensive, but it offers some truly excellent features and design traits!
