In order for the dehumidifier to remove the moisture from your space, it uses a fan that draws in all of the air that is in your room, into the dehumidifier. When this air passes into the dehumidifier, it flows through a mesh filter.

This mesh filter is incredibly useful, because it serves as a mechanism that removes all of the dust, hair, and allergens from the air that is flowing through the dehumidifier. That way, the air that comes out of the dehumidifier doesn’t have any of that stuff within it.
Once air has flown through the mesh filter, it passes through a series of refrigerated coils. What these coils do, is they turn the humidity that’s in the air into pure moisture. All of this moisture is removed from the air, and then the air flows out of the dehumidifier.
Naturally, that dehumidified moisture has to go somewhere. There are two places that it can go, with this dehumidifier. One of those places is into a water bucket, which is located on the bottom of this dehumidifier.

This water bucket is capable of storing 1.5-gallons of moisture. That’s quite a bit of moisture, and as such, there won’t be any need for you to constantly empty it out. But, if you intend to run this dehumidifier for a long period of time – multiple days, for example – and would like to have a more convenient and effortless experience, then there is an alternate solution.
On the back of the dehumidifier, there is a garden hose outlet. Using this outlet, you’re able to connect a water line, and this water line will allow you to drain all of the moisture that’s coming into the dehumidifier.
You can hook this water line up to a water pipe, place it in your faucet, or even set it up outside so that it flows into the ground.
Regardless of which moisture disposal method you use, you’ll have an easy and convenient time, due to the quality of this dehumidifier’s design.

When it comes to the power of this dehumidifier, and the amount of dehumidification it’s able to perform in a single day, it is capable of removing 30-pints of moisture within a single 24-hour period. That isn’t a lot of moisture, unfortunately, but it’s definitely a fair amount.
But, if you are using this dehumidifier in a space that is 1,500 square-feet, it won’t be very thorough, and a lot of that space will remain filled with humidity.
With that being said, however, this dehumidifier isn’t really designed to remove extraordinary amounts of humidity. Instead, it’s designed to remove a fair amount of humidity from a large – or small – space, while allowing humidity to remain in the space that’s being dehumidified.
To aid in this, there is a setting that’s on the front of the dehumidifier. Using this setting, you are able to determine the exact amount of humidity that the dehumidifier removes, and the exact amount of humidity that remains in the space that’s being dehumidified.

As for the quality of the design and the convenience that this dehumidifier offers, it’s one of the more convenient dehumidifiers around. With a weight of 31-pounds, it certainly isn’t light. But, there are wheels on the bottom of the dehumidifier, and there’s a handle on the top.
