Right off the bat, in order for you to use this robot vacuum you’ll be relying on the remote control that Eufy has provided. Most of the more expensive robot vacuums allow you to use your smartphone to control the robot vacuum, but this one doesn’t. That being said, however, this remote control is well-designed and it gives you easy access to all of the features and settings that you’ll need.
On this remote control, you’ll find a set of different buttons, each one corresponding to a different set of features. There’s a small screen on the top of the remote, and this screen allows you to see which settings and features you are currently using.
As for the specific features and settings you have access to, you are able to perform functions such as scheduling, charging, turning the vacuum on and off, and changing the cleaning mode. With the scheduling mode, you can choose when the robot vacuum is on and vacuuming, and when it’s off and charging. That way, the entire process is automated. When it comes to the different cleaning modes, there are four of them, and these cleaning modes allow you to determine how the robot vacuum cleans your home.
Most of the time, you’ll be relying on Auto Mode. Auto Mode is the most basic cleaning mode, and it involves allowing the vacuum cleaner to detect what is in your home, and what it needs to do to move across the entirety of your home. And then, in doing that, the robot vacuum removes the dirt, dust, and debris that is on your floors, and you don’t have to do anything.Eufy 30 CleaningSuction Power 1500 Pa Сleaning Area 1292 ft2Dust Container600 mlAuto Dirt Disposal noWet Mopping noBarrier-cross Height 0.63 inHEPA Filtration noWashable Filter no

There is also Edge Mode and Spot Mode, which focus on the edges of your home, and vacuuming in specific spots and areas. These two modes are very useful in their own, and they allow for more precise and specific cleaning, in comparison to Auto Mode, which is ideal if there are specific areas that need to be cleaned and vacuumed.
On the remote control, there is a set of arrow-keys. With these arrow-keys, you can control the robot vacuum directly, moving it into the different spaces and areas that need to be vacuumed. This is very useful if there is one particular space that you need to vacuum, that the vacuum keeps missing.
To make the vacuuming process even easier, Eufy has included a set of Boundary Strips. With these Boundary Strips, you are able to prevent the robot vacuum from entering or exiting particular areas and spaces. To do that, you just take a Boundary Strip, and then lay it down in front of a doorway, for example. The Boundary Strip will then emit a signal, and this signal tells the robot vacuum not to cross, which forces the robot vacuum to stay within a particular area.Eufy 30 BatteryBattery Capacity 2600 mAhRuning time 100 min Charging Time 300 minRated Power25 W

While this robot vacuum is moving across your floors, it relies on BoostIQ Technology to tell when it moves from a carpet, for example, to a hard floor. Then, it adjusts the suction it’s using automatically, to properly vacuum that surface.
When it comes to the other features and design traits of this robot vacuum, it offers one-hundred-minutes of battery-life and it makes very little noise. These are small traits that add convenience to the overall vacuuming process, making for a more pleasant and enjoyable experience.
If there is a flaw that this robot vacuum offers, it’s the fact that it isn’t ideal for vacuuming on thick carpets and rugs. But, for any hard floor, and thin carpets and rugs, it works very well.Eufy 30 ControlScheduling yes IR Remote Control yesApp noWi-Fi Frequency Bands 2.4 GHzAmazon AlexanoGoogle AssistantnoVirtual Walls yes
