With your smartphone, you can access the various settings and features that this robot vacuum offers at all times. But, with the remote, you can only access those same settings and features when you’re within a certain radius of the robot vacuum.
As for the features and settings that you have access to, there are quite a few. There is a scheduling feature, which allows you to determine when the vacuum is on and vacuuming, and when it’s recharging. You can also turn the vacuum on and off and tell it to recharge. Plus, you have access to several different vacuuming modes and three different suction modes.
With the cleaning modes that MOOSOO has given, you can tailor the entire vacuuming experience to your needs. There are four cleaning modes, and they are Spot Mode, Smart Mode, Edge Mode, and Manual Mode.

With Spot Mode, the vacuum cleaner cleans one particular spot on your floor, until that spot is completely clean. With Smart Mode, the robot vacuum navigates across the entirety of your home, on its own, and vacuums whatever is in its path. Using Edge Mode, the robot vacuum moves across the edges of your home and vacuums up the dirt, dust, and debris that is along those edges. With Manual Mode, you can control the robot vacuum directly, which is great if the robot vacuum has missed certain areas that you would like to have been vacuumed.
The motor that this robot vacuum uses is capable of generating up to 1800Pa of suction power. That is quite a bit of suction power, especially for a robot vacuum as affordable as this one. To use this suction power, on your remote/smartphone, you can choose from three different suction settings.
These suction settings are Low, Medium, and MAX. With these suction settings, you can determine how much suction the robot vacuum is using, at any particular time, which allows you to tailor what the robot vacuum is doing to what you need.
With the brush system and the suction power that this robot vacuum gives you, you will have an easy time vacuuming on a variety of different surfaces and areas. For hard floors, this robot vacuum is fantastic, and it works incredibly well at removing the dirt, dust, and debris that happens to be on those hard surfaces.

For soft floors, such as rugs and carpets, the experience is similar, but also a little different. This is because the suction power and brush system, while very good, aren’t always ideal for carpets and rugs that are especially thick. Instead, the brush system and suction power are ideal for soft floors that are less dense, which allows the suction and brush to reach the dirt, dust, and debris that is within those surfaces.
Since this is a robot vacuum that doesn’t rely on a power cord, it uses a battery. On a single charge, this battery provides around one hundred minutes of battery life. For most homes, that is more than enough time to do a full vacuuming. But, for larger homes, that may not be enough time.
What must be pointed out, as well, is that the higher the suction setting, the less battery life you will have access to. But, on the lower suction settings, you’ll have more battery life, which allows for longer and more thorough vacuuming sessions.
