For many of us, our homes are full of nasty germs, pollutants, and contaminants that only bring illness and unhealthiness into our lives. This is due to a variety of factors, but the fact of the matter is, our air isn’t exactly clean. Far from it, our air is full of nastiness, but with a good air purifier, that air is sucked in, and when it comes out, the germs and contaminants that once inhabited it are now long gone, and we can breathe in that air freely, without having to worry about our health.

To start with the design, the LEVOIT LV-PUR131 is quite beautiful. It has a simple and clean aesthetic that goes with just about any room in the house. On the top of the machine, there are various buttons, and each one is clearly labeled, so you know exactly what the buttons do, and what kinds of features they correspond to.

This is a smaller air purifier than the Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Air Purifier, and as such, the MAC is only around 320 square feet. For smaller rooms and spaces, though, this should work just fine. Anything larger, and you’ll start to have some issues.
When the air purifier is running, and the air is flowing through it, air passes through three filtration systems.
The first filtration system is what’s known as a “Fine Preliminary Filter”, and this filter is used to filter out and destroy mold, fungi, pet dander, as well as bacteria. Most of the germs that are in your air will pass through this filter, and be eradicated.
