Today, there are a lot of robot vacuums available. This is in contrast to the mid-nineties when there were only a couple of different robot vacuums available, and the available ones weren’t very good.

Lots of people are looking to purchase a good robot vacuum because robot vacuums do something that no other vacuum cleaner can do: they automate the entire process of vacuuming. Instead of having to mess with a bunch of settings and move the vacuum around on your own, you can just press a few buttons and a robot vacuum vacuums for you.

What Does The Ecovacs Deebot 500 Have To Offer?

The Ecovacs Deebot 500 utilizes a simple cleaning system. You’ll find similar cleaning systems on most robot vacuums, and the reason for that is because these cleaning systems work, and they work very well.

When the robot vacuum is moving across your home, it makes use of three brushes. There are two side brushes, and these side brushes pull all of the dirt, dust, and debris that’s around the vacuum. All of that dirt, dust, and debris is then pushed into the main suction channel, which is right by the main brush. This main brush removes the stuff that’s directly underneath the vacuum, while also pushing everything else into the suction channel.

It’s a simple cleaning process, but it works. It’s great for vacuuming on all kinds of surfaces, but thicker surfaces – such as rugs and carpets – can be a little trickier to properly vacuum. For most other surfaces, you won’t have any issues.

To utilize this cleaning process, you can choose from four different cleaning modes. Most people will be using “Auto Mode”, which is where the vacuum uses its sensors to determine where to go, and what it needs to be vacuuming. If you would like to thoroughly vacuum a smaller area, though, then there is “Spot Mode”.

This is a mode for thoroughly vacuuming one particular space that needs extra vacuuming. You have “Edge Mode” after that, for vacuuming the edges of the rooms that you’re in. And, finally, you have “Max Mode”, which uses the maximum amount of suction for spaces and areas that are dirty.

Using the vacuum is easy since you can use your smartphone, or a Smart Device, such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. All three of these options work very well and give you access to important features such as scheduling and changing the cleaning mode that’s being used. If you’re using your smartphone, though, you can directly control the vacuum.

On a single charge, you have access to around 110-minutes of battery life. For a robot vacuum of this price, that’s a lot of battery life especially when you consider the fact that most vacuuming sessions don’t take that long.

Ultimately, the Ecovacs Deebot 500 is an excellent robot vacuum! It’s fast, efficient, and very easy to use! Plus, it doesn’t cost that much money, either!

What Does The Ecovacs Deebot 711 Have To Offer?

The Ecovacs Deebot 711 is a continuation of the features and design traits that you can find in the Ecovacs Deebot 500. It continues many of those basic features and design traits, but it doesn’t do a lot to improve or develop them any further. Instead, the ECOVACS Deebot 711 offers more of the same, but that might be what you’re looking for.

Ecovacs Deebot 711

One of the biggest differences between the Deebot 711 and the Deebot 500 is the fact that the 711 has a much better navigation system. It uses the Smart Navi 2.0 system, which is a much more efficient navigation system. What makes it more efficient is the fact that it’s able to map larger and more complex spaces, while also devising the best cleaning paths for those particular areas. Instead of circling the same couple of areas, and taking too long to clean a certain room, the Deebot 711 moves quickly, without missing any dirty areas.

Having access to this improved navigation system does make using the Ecovacs Deebot 711 a better and more pleasant experience. But, other than that new navigation system, there aren’t really that many other differences between the two robot vacuums.

You still have access to cleaning modes such as Auto Mode, Edge Mode, Spot Mode, and Max Mode. These all work well and provide the same general results that you’ll find with the Ecovacs Deebot 500.

Ecovacs DEEBOT 711 Robot Vacuum

To access these different cleaning modes, you’ll be using your smartphone, or a smart device, such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Using those devices, you also have access to features such as scheduling, and being able to directly control the robot vacuum so that you can thoroughly vacuum in certain spaces.

As for the battery life, it’s 110-minutes, just like the Ecovacs Deebot 500. And just like that robot vacuum, this should be more than enough for most vacuuming tasks.

Ultimately, the Ecovacs Deebot 711 is a very good robot vacuum. While it offers very little that is unique, it’s well-made, easy to use, and it does have a great navigation system!

What Does The Ecovacs Deebot 711S Have To Offer?

When you take the Ecovacs Deebot 711S out of the box, what you’ll notice is that it looks just like the Deebot 711. There aren’t any notable design or aesthetic differences, and that’s because this robot vacuum isn’t that different from the 711. It’s mostly the same robot vacuum, just with a couple of small improvements that make the overall experience a little easier and a little more enjoyable.

Ecovacs DEEBOT 711S

Right off the bat, the biggest difference between the 711 and the 711S is the fact that the 711S has 130-minutes of battery life. That’s 20-minutes of extra battery life, in comparison to the 110-minutes that the 711 gives you. For vacuumings that require some extra time, having these extra 20-minutes can be incredibly useful. But, if you don’t already need this battery life, then it’s probably not going to improve the overall experience.

That’s the main difference, but there is another difference, as well. The brushing system is a bit better, and it moves across carpets and rugs with ease. Since the brush system is better, it’s easier for the brushes to remove dirt, dust, and small pieces of debris from those surfaces.

Other than those two differences, the 711S is almost the same vacuum as the 711. And, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, because a better brush system and longer battery life are two very useful improvements.

Ecovacs DEEBOT 711S Review

If you really liked what the Ecovacs Deebot 711 offered, but you wanted more battery life, and a brush system that’s better for rugs and carpets, then you can’t go wrong with the Ecovacs Deebot 711S!
