For a good robotic pool cleaner, you can’t go wrong with Dolphin. In this review, you’re going to learn all about the Dolphin Triton PS Inground Pool Cleaner, and whether or not its right for you!

To start off, this robotic pool cleaner is capable of cleaning pools that are no more than fifty-feet in diameter. If you have a swimming pool that is larger than that, this robotic pool cleaner won’t be able to clean it, unfortunately.
But, if your pool is that size, or under that size, then this robotic pool cleaner will clean it with ease!

When you’re using this robotic pool cleaner, all you need to do is plug it in, and then turn it on. From that, it will then move into your swimming pool, and move across the different surfaces and areas that are located within your pool.
On average, it takes only two-hours for this robotic pool cleaner to clean a pool of that size, which is very fast.
In order for this robotic pool cleaner to move across the walls and waterline of your pool – the only two surfaces of the pool it can clean – it uses something known as “PowerStream Mobility”. PowerStream Mobility is a technology that allows this robotic pool cleaner to stick to those surfaces, so that it’s never at risk of slipping off.

But, more importantly, it allows the robotic pool cleaner to move across those surfaces with flexibility and mobility, which makes the pool cleaning process far easier and quicker than it would be without PowerStream Mobility.
While PowerStream Mobility is designed for the walls and waterline of your swimming pool, it can still move across the floors of your swimming pool. But, since those aren’t vertical surfaces, it doesn’t require any special technologies or features to do that.
As for the cleaning process itself, this robotic pool cleaner relies on three major systems that allow the robotic pool cleaning process to be easy and simple.
The most important system is that of the brushing, which allows the robotic pool cleaner to brush and loosen up all of the dirt and gunk that it comes into contact with. Things like moss and piles of dirt, for example.

When the brush moves across those surfaces and loosens up that dirt and gunk, it then uses a suction channel to push the dirt and gunk into the robotic pool cleaner.
This is a fairly large suction channel, in comparison to other robotic pool cleaners, and it allows large pieces of dirt and debris to flow into the robotic pool cleaner, while also allowing large quantities of water to circulate, at any given time.

Once all of that dirt and gunk is thrown into the robotic pool cleaner, it flows into a top-loading filter basket. This is a very large filter basket that can be accessed at the very top of the robotic pool cleaner. Due to its large size, it’s fully capable of holding things like sticks and leaves and large clumps of dirt and moss.
To empty out the filter basket, you can just grab the basket and then take it over to the trash can. Then, you can dump the contents of that filter basket into the trash. It’s a very simple and very easy set up that allows for a tremendous amount of ease and efficiency.
What aids in making the overall experience convenient and easy is the fact that you can automate when this robotic pool cleaner is on, through a scheduling feature.

Dolphin Triton PS
Using the scheduling feature, you are able to set the robotic pool cleaner to clean your pool everyday, every other day, or every third day. Just make sure that it’s plugged in, once you’ve set the schedule.
Along with that, this robotic pool cleaner only weighs around 17-pounds. For a robotic pool cleaner, that isn’t a lot of weight, which makes it easy for you to set up this robotic pool cleaner, and then for you to take it out of the water if it gets stuck – it’ll come out of the pool automatically, once it’s done.

Conclusion
In the end, if you are looking for a great robotic pool cleaner that offers excellent performance and efficiency, while also offering a fantastic design, then the Dolphin Triton PS Inground Pool Cleaner is a fantastic choice!
One thing to remember is that this is a fairly expensive robotic pool cleaner. So, if you don’t need the level of efficiency that this robotic pool cleaner offers, this may not be the ideal pool cleaner for you.
