Spin mops are quite unique. If you’re familiar with regular mops, then you know that a regular mop is, more or less, just a scrubbing device.

You move it across your floor, scrub hard, and get rid of the gunk and grime that is on your floor. It’s a simple and basic process that tends to be quite effective.
Spin mops are a little different. When you’re using a spin mop, you push it across your floor, but the mop pads spin while you’re pushing them across your floor. They spin fast, too. From this spinning, they’re able to scrub and remove dirt and grime much faster than a regular mop. Instead of you having to manually scrub, the spin mop does it all for you!
Today, you’re going to learn about two excellent spin mops. The first spin mop you’re going to learn about is the BISSELL Spinwave. And then, you’re going to learn about the Homitt Electric Spin Mop. Both of these spin mops are excellent, and you’re going to learn what, exactly, makes them excellent!

What Does The BISSELL Spinwave Offer?
When you first take a look at the BISSELL Spinwave, you’ll notice that it looks just like a regular mop. That is, until you take a look at the bottom of the mop, and notice that the mopping pad looks a little different.

Instead of having just one big mop pad, there are two small mop pads. Only, they aren’t mop pads; they’re slots. BISSELL includes two spinning mop pads that you need to put into these two slots.

When you’ve put the two spinning mop pads into the slots, you then need to add some water to a small tank. This water will spray out, when you press a button, so that you can mop your floors. But, you can also add some cleaning solution to this water tank, and by doing this, it makes the mopping process much more efficient.
While there are two slots for spinning mop pads, BISSELL includes two types of mop pads. You have Soft Touch Pads, which are soft mopping pads that aren’t too rough or hard. They’re meant for simple and light mopping. Then, you have Scrubby Pads, which are meant for thick stains and bigger messes that require some more mopping power.

Both of those mopping pads are great. You can use them for a variety of different mopping tasks, and they work very well. But, if you are using the Scrubby Pads, then it would be wise to add some cleaning solution to the water tank. By using this cleaning solution, it’ll make scrubbing those thick messes and stains a lot easier. But, when you are using the Soft Touch Pads, you don’t need to use any cleaning solution, although it can help make the mopping process a bit easier.
Using the BISSELL Spinwave, you can mop on any hard floor. Naturally, mopping on soft floors, such as rugs and carpets, isn’t a very wise idea. But, hard floors can be mopped on with immense ease, and the scrubbing allows for the mopping process to be nice and quick!
In the end, the BISSELL Spinwave is not the most inexpensive spin mop, but it’s great! It’s a great spin mop that gives you excellent mopping power, a simple and easy-to-use design, and durability, so that it will last for at least a couple of years.

What Does The Homitt Electric Spin Mop Offer?
The Homitt Electric Spin Mop is, well, an electric spin mop. And, it doesn’t rely on a power cord for that electricity. Instead, it uses a battery.

On a single charge, this battery gives you around forty-to-fifty-minutes of battery-life. For intense moppings, that should be enough time, since this is a powerful spin mop. But, when you’re done using the spin mop, it takes around four-hours to fully recharge.
Mobility is one of the key traits of the Homitt Electric Spin Mop. This is seen in the lack of a power cord, but it’s also seen in a few other aspects of the spin mop. For example, you can adjust the rod that the mop is attached to. If you want it to be taller, you can make it taller. And, if you want to make it shorter, you can make it taller. It’s quite versatile, in that regard.
To use this spin mop, you need to fill a small tank up with water. This tank holds 300ML of water, which is usually enough for twenty-minutes, give or take. When you fill this tank up with water – and cleaning solution, if you want – you can then put the mop pads into the two slots that are on the bottom. When you put the mop pads into the slot, just press the power button and begin to mop. On the handle, there’s a button that, when you press it, releases some water.

Just like the BISSELL Spinwave, the Homitt Electric Spin Mop comes with two Soft Pads, and two Scrubby Pads. These pads are well-designed, and are great for cleaning a variety of different messes, on any kind of hard floor.
If you want to place some wax underneath the mop pads – or to buy other mop pads for floor waxing – you can do that. The Homitt Electric Spin Mop can easily be used to polish your floors, as well as to buff out the scratches that are on them.
While the Homitt Electric Spin Mop doesn’t offer much that is particularly new or novel, it’s still a very good spin mop. Mostly because it combines excellent design traits from a variety of other spin mops, and integrates them in a simple, but very effective, way.
If you are looking for a good spin mop that is affordable, well-designed, very powerful, and great for cleaning all kinds of different hard floors, then the Homitt Electric Spin Mop is a great choice! But, do be aware of the battery, because it can be annoying to have to recharge it so frequently.
