Most of the vacuum cleaners that are on the market are unable to vacuum up wet material. They can vacuum up all kinds of different dry materials, such as dirt, dust, food crumbs, wood chippings, among many other kinds of materials. But, when you attempt to vacuum up water from a spill, vomit, or any other wet material, you can’t do it. And that’s because most vacuum cleaners don’t have the necessary hardware to accommodate wet material properly. Wet material can damage most vacuum cleaners, causing the rest of the vacuum cleaner to either fail or not to work very well.

Some vacuum cleaners come with accessories and extensions that allow the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up wet material, but most of them don’t come with these extensions, and even if they do, they aren’t always sufficient.

As of today, the only vacuum cleaner that can efficiently and effectively vacuum up wet and dry material is a wet/dry vacuum. With a wet/dry vacuum, you can vacuum up all kinds of different wet material. This includes things like water that has flooded into your basement, vomit, spilled milk, and even mud, among many other types of wet material.

With a wet/dry vacuum, you can easily vacuum up any of the wet material that is on your floor. And, you can also vacuum up any dry material that is on your floor. These are some of the most powerful and efficient vacuums on the market.

What Does The Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum Offer?

With the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum, you have access to a motor that gives you 2.0-Peak-HP of suction power. This is quite a bit of suction power, especially when you consider the small size of this wet/dry vacuum.

Armor All AA255 Review

Using this suction power, you can vacuum up dry material, and wet material, with immense ease. All of the material that you vacuum up goes into a tank that has a 2.5-gallon capacity. This is a large tank, and it can hold quite a bit of material. But, if you’re vacuuming up a lot of water, for example, it will fill up quite fast. When it’s full, the vacuum detects this, and then it shuts off the vacuum. That way, the tank won’t be able to overflow, which might cause damage to the vacuum, and the surface that the vacuum is on.

If you’ve been vacuuming up water from, say, a flood, you’re going to need to find a way to dispose of this water. Instead of just taking the tank and dumping it out, which can be difficult, you can press a button and use the vacuum to blow out all of the water. Just press a button, and then the water, or whatever other material you have vacuumed up, flows out. But, if you do this, be warned that it comes out very quickly.

To use the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum, you need to use the hose that Armor All has provided. This is a six-foot hose. It’s not the longest hose, by any means, but it should be more than sufficient for vacuuming up most things, in most spaces.

Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum AA255

Overall, the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum is fantastic. It’s a strong, durable, powerful, and efficient wet/dry vacuum that gives you quite a bit of power and quite a bit of versatility when it comes to what you clean. But, one of the other qualities that makes this such a great wet/dry vacuum is the fact that it gives you a ten-foot long power cord, and that the vacuum weighs only seven pounds. Picking this vacuum up and moving it around is easy, and that’s part of what makes the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum so good!

Ultimately, if you’re looking for an inexpensive and affordable wet/dry vacuum that gives you excellent performance and mobility, the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum is a great choice!

Armor All Vs. Stanley SL18123P

With the Stanley SL18123P, you have a wet/dry vacuum that gives you 3 HP. That’s 1 HP more than the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum, and as a result of this, the suction is a bit stronger, and the vacuuming process is a bit more efficient.

Armor All Vs. Stanley SL18123P

Using this 3 HP, you can vacuum up wet materials, and dry materials, a little bit easier. It’s not significantly easier, necessarily, but it is easier, overall. Especially if you have a lot of water to remove, the extra HP makes that process more efficient.

While you are vacuuming, everything flows into a three-gallon tank. This three-gallon tank is half-a-gallon larger than the tank in the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum. You won’t have to empty it quite as much, which does add some convenience to the vacuuming process.

As far as mobility goes, the Stanley SL18123P weighs a total of 8.65 pounds, and has a six-foot power cord, and a four-foot hose. The short hose does lessen the mobility of this wet/dry vacuum, but it still works well.

If you want a wet/dry vacuum that isn’t too much more expensive, while offering greater performance, but with less mobility, then the Stanley SL18123P is a good choice.

Armor All Vs. DeWalt

With the DeWalt Wet/Dry Vacuum, you have mobility and efficiency, in an affordable package. But, this wet/dry vacuum is more expensive than the previous two vacuums, so be aware of that.

Armor All Vs. DeWalt

The entire vacuum is housed within a four-gallon “toolbox”. This toolbox is easy to pick up and move around, and you can store all of the accessories you need to use, within the box. Mobility and portability are two of the biggest successes with the DeWalt Wet/Dry Vacuum.

Using a motor that gives you 5-Peak-HP, you will have a very easy time vacuuming up both wet materials, and dry materials. This is a strong motor that gives you a great deal of suction. Suction that you can easily use to clean up just about any mess.

When you are using the DeWalt Wet/Dry Vacuum, you’ll plug in the twenty-foot power cord, and then use the seven-foot suction hose. These two features make the DeWalt Wet/Dry Vacuum especially mobile, which adds a level of convenience to the overall cleaning experience.

Ultimately, if you don’t mind spending some extra cash for an experience that is both efficient and flexible, then the DeWalt Wet/Dry Vacuum is the perfect choice!

Armor All Vs. Stanley SL18136

From Stanley, once again, we have the Stanley SL18136. With the Stanley SL18136, you have 4 HP, and a three-gallon tank to store everything that you’ve vacuumed up.

Armor All Vs. Stanley SL18136

In more ways than one, the Stanley SL18136 is very similar to the Stanley SL18123P. But, it offers slightly more suction power, a simpler and easier-to-use design, as well as a ten-foot power cord.

With all of these features, you have an experience that is efficient, as well as versatile. You can move the Stanley SL18136 around easily, due to the wheels on the bottom, and the long power cord. And you can vacuum up nearly anything, using the 4 HP suction power.

If you want a Stanley wet/dry vacuum that is more powerful, and mobile, then the Stanley SL18136 is an excellent choice!
