People say that their robotic Roomba vacuum cleaners are awesome, but is that really the truth? Indeed, on the off -chance that you did read the post I did “I May Be Frugal, But These Things Were Worth The Splurge”, you will have realized that I spent some money on this product. This was only because I was unable keep my floors clean as I had small children and they made keeping my house clean a huge challenge.

This product would satisfy the needs for the vast majority of people that invested in them. They clean just about any type of floor (hardwood, vinyl, cover, fired, tile, and carpet) just by easily pressing a little button. Cleaning would happen while you are not even at home and everything would be clean when you return.

OK, now I have ruined the surprise that I totally think this product is awesome. However, there are some people that this product would not actually work for, and that is why you need to read through this review.

Long haired carpets (shaggy) present a bit of a problem and they don’t particularly like it very much.

They can be a bit noisy and disturbing when you are trying to watch your favourite show on TV.

The docking station of the cleaner can sometimes present a problem when connecting, and at times I needed to angle the station slightly in order for the cleaner to connect to it properly and do the charging.

Who Would Enjoy A iRobot Roomba?

You would enjoy one of these if:

You accept that your floors would be cleaned well, but not quite perfect.

You really have different things you’d prefer doing, rather than cleaning floors.

You have nice big and open areas that need cleaning.

You have a more solid type of floor and/or ordinary to medium length rugs and carpets.

Until now I’ve just heard incredible reports from the individuals who actually has bought one of these cleaners. Fact is that this type of cleaner would not be suitable for everybody.

You would not enjoy one of these if:

You are one of those people that have long-haired (shaggy) carpets in your home.

You are a perfectionist and want your floors cleaned 100%

You have large amounts of furniture, or other objects littering the floor (like toys, garments etc.).

You consistently have food spills, soft children toys and animal droppings on your floors. The cleaner would simply worsen your problem and not be a help at all!

You will need to take measures and place something in front of a flight of descending stairs, as this will prevent the cleaner from taking a tumble down the stairs!! The cleaner needs to see something solid to stop going there ….some type of divider, box etc.

You will fall in love with it and you will have to accept that you will treat it like a new pet and give it a name!!

I just absolutely love my cleaner!! I personally purchased the iRobot Roomba 650 from Amazon during a Black Friday sale they had and would do it again without thinking twice!

Highlights Of My Cleaner I would simply press one button and then be on my way to do something more productive, like taking a stroll with the children or doing some office work.

In my case it really cleans all floors seamlessly – apart from one long-haired carpet I have in my home.

It doesn’t create any work for me and I do not have the hassles of power cables getting tangled!

Using a virtual divider of some kind gives you more authority over which area would be cleaned in your home.

Young children just love watching this cleaner do its thing and keeps them busy!!!

In case you’re not a perfectionist, have reasonable hard floors, no shaggy carpets, and have little time for doing housework, a cleaner like this would be well worth it.
