One of the ways that you can remove that moisture is by setting the dehumidifier on a drain. This allows all of the dehumidified moisture to flow into the drain, and out of the basement.

But, alternatively, you can also attach a hose to the dehumidifier and then set this hose up in a sink, water line, or some other place.

In the end, while the Aprilaire Basement Dehumidifier is also quite expensive, it’s easy to set up and very easy to use, while offering plenty of dehumidification power. If you don’t mind the high price and the slightly low dehumidification output, this is a great dehumidifier to purchase.
